This Monday’s project is inspired by the lovely and very talented Gina K, link to the video and be found in the description underneath the video on YouTube.
This is one of those techniques that looks a hot mess and you think it will never work. However, the magic really comes at the end when you sponge on the black ink.
I have used three shades on pink and green because those colours seem to lend themselves to the stamp set I have chosen to use, I think as we are heading into winter that wintery or autumnal colours would be great as well.
As I used watercolour paper and was textured and bit bumpy some of the embossing didn’t come out as solid but I think it adds to the card, I also didn’t apply the black ink as a solid colour as I liked that some of the colours underneath came through a bit.
Hope you will give this one ago.
