Today I am using one of Stampin’ Up premade boxes which have been hand stamped and hand coloured by yours truly. The boxes as they would be SU made from really very sturdy card stock and the Lustrious White has subtle glittery glimmer to it. To my surprise, they stamped really well without smudging (only when you get ink on hands) and even took out water-based makers in the same way. I love to make my own boxes but there is something very satisfying by taking a relatively plain box and jazzing it up.
I wanted something to celebrate the Autumn which is my favourite time of the year and the new stamp set Falling for Leaves fit the bill. However, I think this set is an all year rounder just by changing up the colours. For the Stamping Write markers, I used Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin pie, Garden Green and Mango Melody. The full set of the cores colours is a great investment and can be used as the ink pads and lets you try all the colours at a fabulous price. They are a staple crafting item in my craft room and I certainly couldn’t be without them, great for travelling as well.
