Welcome to a new series here on my blog and Youtube called #SimpleStamping where I’m catering to the new crafter who is just starting out. The main aim of this series to not necessarily do simple project although that does come into it rather create projects that use a minimum of supplies. I’m very thankful that I have been able to over the years collect a lot of crafting items which means that I have lots at my fingertips to create some beautiful project. However, I am more and more conscious that this can seem a bit intimidating if you are just beginning.
As the big C word (Christmas) will soon be here I thought we would do a lovely quite modern Christmas card.
The colours I have chosen to concentrate on are all from the Regals Collection because I feel this has the greatest range of Christmassy colours. I also wanted to make sure that all the colours of ink and cardstock came from the same collection so that only one pack of cardstock and ink would be needed, a great way to build up your SU colour collection.
For the ink, I used our Stampin’ Write markers rather than the Classic Ink pads and this is because you can colour in a stamped images or ink and stamp with the markers as it is the same ink as in our ink pads.
Anyway onto the video tutorial
