Hello and Happy Christmas to you all.
Today I have a really cute Christmas card that is a little more time consuming that some of my other cards, but worth it I think you’ll agree.
I am trying to incorporate my love of art and colouring into my Stampin’ up live and this card features my much neglected polychromos pencil. Although the scene I have done is a night sky it would look just fabulous as a sunset, sunrise or daytime, choose whichever you want and which suits your mood. I have used a white gel pen to do the little dots of snow and they have stood out more then I thought they would but still sutble. If you don’t have coloured pencils then this would look equally lovely with watercolour pencils or even waterbased markers like ours.
Sorry for the long video and the occasional appearance of my hair, it is really hard to remember to keep back when colouring on film.
Card base from thick Whisper White 4′ by 5 1/2′
A white piece of cardstock (I used the smooth side of a NOT watercolour paper) 3 3/4′ by 3 3/4′
Night of navy cardstock cut to 3 7/8′ by 5 3/8′
