Today’s project uses one of the free items from the Sale-a-bration, the oh so elegant lovely lattice stamp. As this stamp has lots of open space for colouring which I love in a stamp as I find colouring very relaxing. In my new space I can see my markers a lot easier and as I am enjoying using alcohol markers I grabbed a bunch (light and dark) that I wanted. I kind of see this stamp as being a bit vintage so that’s why I chose the muted colours.
Although I have done some basic shading as I am by no means an expert this would look just a lovely without the shading but is not too difficult. When I knew what colours I was going to colouring in the flowers I went to the cardstock and Fresh Fig seemed to go so well, this colour will retire when the annual catalogue comes out so it needs a bit more use.
