Cards, Colouring, Techniques

Dandelion Wishes embossing resist card.

Today’s card/technique is a take on one I saw the very talented Gina K do on one of her videos. I pulled out the Dandelion Wishes stamp set from the annual catalolgue as I liked the solid line image of this and this kind of technique suits that kind if stamp.

I wanted my colours to graduate from dark to light as I feel it brings more interest to the card but try it with one colour as I bet it would look just as elegant.

For the blue version of this card I used Pacific Point, Balmy Blue and Pool Party.

For the pink version is used Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo and Blushing Bride.

The video tutorial can be found below.

For the embossing I used our clear embossing because I didn’t have and white embossing but any of those would work. When you have finoshed sponging on the colour get a clean tissue or piece of kitchen towel and wipe over the embossing, this removes any of the ink and brings the image out.
