Using a stencil as a background.

Today is all about the background and how I created this fantastic background by stamping through a stencil.

For such a simple technique I really think it looks just like you have cut out a bit DSP, but you have made the colours work for you. I decidied that I liked the contrast between the white card stock and the colour oar but if you wanted a more subtle background then try a lighter colour base or bring some of the ink into the white.

This would work of course work with any stencil, I just loved the idea of stamping a heart through a heart stencil. As I am lucky enough to own a Cricut I cut my own stencil using Cricut Design Space, the advantage of this is that I can customise to anything I need it for.
