Welcome to a new card tutorial,
I designed this card to celebrate the birth of my cousins little boy hence the blue and the other one pink for any new little girls.
I started the design with a grey colour in mind and Smoky Slate fit the bill as I wanted a colour to tie in with the elephants. For the blue and the pink pastels colours had to be the choice and I chose Balmy Blue and Blushing Bride (Petel Pink is too peachy) and I love the grey and the other colours, very tailored and classic.
The Little Elephant stamp set co-ordinates with the Elephant Builder punch and I elevated the two elephants at the front and was able to punch them out really quickly.
In order to line the stamp image up with the punch I punched out the image on a piece of scrap paper, I was then able to to line the stamps up in the punched piece and put the blockon top. Ready to stamp and punch and all lined up.
Card base 11 3/4 by 4 1/8 scored in 1/2 along the LONG side.
1st Layer 3 7/8′ by 5 5/8′
Thanks and Happy crafting
